HOW DOES THERAGUN WORK?
THERAGUN
Theragun was founded by Dr. Jason Wersland after a horrible accident in searches for a solution to his debilitating pain. When nothing on the market helped, he designs a makeshift tool that worked—unknowingly creating the first Theragun.
Whether you’re an athlete, a physical therapist, or a person who needs relief from tension and pain, Theragun provides a breakthrough, natural approach to improving your physical health. Percussive massage can help you perform better, recover faster, and relieve tension and pain for whole-body relief.
The Theragun is a massage device that looks (and sounds) like a power drill that uses percussive massage therapy to treat muscle soreness and relieve pain. The tool has increasingly been used by and found effective for everyone! We provide Theragun Percussive technology at SUOY because we are committed to providing natural solutions that not only work but also is affordable.
THERAGUN HELPS WITH THE FOLLOWING:
Accelerates recovery & muscle repair
Increases blood and lymphatic flow
Relieves muscle spasms and stiffness
Breaks up scar tissue
Improves lactic acid clearance
Activates the nervous system and muscles
Muscle fatigue, pain, tightness, soreness, and knots
Natural stress relief
Myofascial release (7x more effective than a foam roller)
*All Theragun sessions at SUOY are controlled and handled by customers only. SUOY is only present to guide and offer the technology*
WHY THERAGUN:
Our PRO commercial-grade brushless motor has a QuietForce Technology that delivers up to 60 lbs. of no-stall force–should you need it
As quiet as a standard electric toothbrush
Penetrates 60% deeper than the competitors devices
Customizable speed between our scientifically calibrated 1750 - 2400 percussions per minute (PPM)
Reaches 60% deeper into the muscle than the average massager, touching the body and then coming off of it 40 times per second
Has a patented Theragun Triangle multi-grip design that provides infinite ways to hold the device without strain or added pressure on your hands and arms
Hard plastic attachments can harm the body, so Theragun designed theirs with comfortable, non-porous closed-cell foam
Each attachment has a unique shape and impact level to ensure the right treatment in the right area—the result of years of feedback from our founder Dr. Jason's actual patients.
6 attachments: Supersoft, Dampener, Standard Ball, Wedge, Thumb, and Cone
